Khanh V. Nguyen, DDS, MSD
Dr. Khanh Nguyen, or Dr. Connie as her patients call her, completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology. She went on to earn her DDS degree at University of California, San Francisco then receive her periodontal certificate and MS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Upon completion of her residency, she became a board-certified diplomate with the American Board of Periodontology.
Although Dr. Connie trained traditionally, she also specializes in LANAP® laser therapy, which is a minimally invasive technique and great alternative to surgery for treating periodontitis or gum disease. This procedure allows her to treat cases that were once high risk (i.e., patients on anticoagulants, patients on bisphosphonates and patients with less-than-ideal hygiene.)
Although no one likes to go to the doctor or dentist, Dr. Connie and her team strive to make your visits with us as comfortable and pleasant as possible because she believes her patients’ comfort is an important part of quality periodontal care.
Dr. Connie believes that your right to choose a periodontist is an important freedom. We work closely with your dentist, but a referral by a dentist is not required to visit our office. We also welcome referrals from patients and friends of the practice.
